We created 7:40 Restaurant to share with you our experience, knowledge, and passion for Central and Eastern European cuisine.

7:40 Restaurant was created and is managed by the Dain family from Latvia.
Our family's story is like the stories of thousands of families in Canada because it is a story of a search for a better and more prosperous life. More than a hundred years ago, our ancestors left central Europe and went east. During this time, they called different European countries their home - Poland, Czechia, Germany, Ukraine, Russia, and Latvia.
Every generation had people who had a special passion for the culinary arts. Each of them created new family recipes, adapting the best of the culinary traditions of the country in which they lived.
Staying true to the original family recipes, we have collected the best European classics and created the menu of our 7:40 Restaurant!
